Frequently Asked Questions - Job Application

The following discussion addresses some of the frequently confronted issues while submitting your application through the online application form on this website:

  • Mandatory Fields
All the fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory and cannot be left empty. If a mandatory field is found empty while submitting the form, appropriate error message will be displayed.
Solution: Check and fill-out all mandatory fields.

  • File Size Restrictions for Attached Files
Please note that the combined size of the files (maximum 3 files) you attach with your online application should not exceed 1MB. Here it is important to note that the size shown in the Windows Explorer may report a false number hence it is better to control the size by looking at the actual size in the properties dialog of the files.
Solution: Ensure the combined file size of your attachments does not exceed 1MB.

  • Spam Protection Text
As an anti-spam measure, the form displays an image with characters inside the image. The user has to type in these characters in the spam protection text box. Please note that these characters are case-sensitive. In case, your entry was incorrect, appropriate message will be displayed and a new image with different characters will be available to try again. Unfortunately, your attached files will no longer be available and will have to be attached again.
Solution: Ensure the text typed in within the spam protection box matches the corresponding spam protection image shown on the form.

  • Session Cookies
It is necessary that your local browser settings allow session cookies, failing which the spam protection will not work and you may get repeated message to type-in correct text as seen in the image and would not be able to submit your application successfully.
Solution: Ensure your browser supports session cookies and that the settings of your browser are not blocking session cookies.

  • Local Proxy Access and Caching
In case you are accessing the website via some proxy server e.g. your company’s local area network, you may face the issue that the spam protection text reports incorrect entry. This can happen due to local cache offered by your local proxy and in effect, it would offer the spam protection image from the cache while our server will expect a different image and related text entry.
Solution: Please try to access our website from an interconnection outside of probable local proxy network.

  • Reporting Error
To investigate any specific situation / error, we would need following information from your end:
    - Which browser and browser version you are using?
    - Exact description of the error and error message you received (screen shot would always be extremely helpful).
    - Approximate time it took between opening of the job application page and actually submitting the same.
    - Does the error repeat on next try?
    - Are you sure that your browser is not blocking session cookies?
    - Are you sure that you are not accessing our website from within a proxy network which might have local caching mechanisms?

In case of issues, you can report the same at webmedia@mwgroup.net with above requested details for further investigation.
