Safety - A Top Priority
TFS is proud of a safety performance record in the top 1% of the industry. TFS maintains a .048 EMR (Experience Modifier Rate) - well below the industry average. Additionally, TFS has industry leading Recordable Case, Lost Workday Case and Fatality rates.
Maintaining this spotless record is integral to the culture at TFS. A dedicated on-site Safety Management team is assigned to monitor and review the risks associated while performing all work. With the knowledge that all injuries and incidents are preventable, the team insures potential hazards are averted before accidents can occur.
Supporting this commitment to provide a safe, hazard free work environment for all employees, customers and suppliers, a set of Site Specific Safety Plans (SSSP) is implemented at each project. These entail:
- Development of the Site Specific Safety Plan (SSSP)
- Pre-Qualification of Subcontractors
- TFS Employee Training
- Weekly Tool Box Safety Meetings
- Monthly Summary Reporting
- Award Incentives for Safe Performance
