Senior Project Manager – Hudson, MA


Job Summary


The Project Manager is responsible for supporting the Senior Project Manager and/or Project Manager in the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of a construction-management project; as well as mentoring multiple Project Engineers and Superintendents.

Duties & Responsibilities


  • Be responsible for the safety posture and results for areas of responsibility on the project.
  • Ensure that company safety policies and the Site Specific Plan are proactively communicated, consistently enforced where needed on the project.
  • Ensure that prospective sub-contractors understand and have a plan to comply with site safety policies and procedures.
  • Take a leadership role with rest of the M+W staff to include superintendents, project engineers and other CMs in providing a clear and concise position with regards to EHS on our projects.
  • Work collaboratively and utilize EHS staff as a resource for strategic and tactical implementation of EHS processes and procedures. Participate in CERT and HAZMAT training and teams as required. Lead / participate in site SMBWA Teams.
  • Participate in the Site Observation (SBO) process. Assist in the development / deployment of the M+W safety culture.
  • Accountable for managing the overall execution of the Project.
  • A Project may be a site construction project, materials logistics project, or a project delivery implementation.
  • Responsible for accurately informing the Director of Project Delivery of a project’s overall status, with particular regard to cost, schedule, quality, safety and client relationship.
  • Responsible for ensuring all applicable Corporate procedures and tools are followed / used on the project. In coordination with the Director, Project Delivery, execute a master agreement with each consultant or subcontractor.
  • Independent management of projects including daily activities, staffing, finance and reporting functions as well as coordination with administrative functions at main office.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the Company/Owner contract and all project correspondence and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain continuous positive relationships with the Client and their representatives Promote positive Staff morale and resolve potential morale conflicts.
  • Promote positive public and community relations, with assistance from the Marketing/Business Development Department. Lead and/or Business Development Activities as required and in coordination with Marketing/Business Development Department.
  • Training of project managers/assistant project managers in routines and reporting functions through meetings and daily duties and requirements.
  • Capability to adapt and respond to requirements of project or client. Scheduling and labor analysis activities daily, weekly and monthly. Delegation of duties/responsibilities and coordination with other management functions.


  • BS OR MS degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • 3-5 years of Project Management experience on $5-15 million construction projects
